INX receive Gold level Material Health Certificate

INX International Ink Co. became the first ink company in the metal decorating segment to receive a Gold level Material Health Certificate from the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII), in collaboration with the EPEA - Part of Drees & Sommer GmbH (Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency).

Intended for use on beverage cans, the AP EcoCan 2-piece metal ink system achieved this status after INX standard AP series inks had already earned bronze level certification.

GGP Media is implementing Cradle to Cradle

GGP Media, a subsidiary of the Bertelsmann Printing Group, will continue investing in environmental management and increase the efficiency and sustainability of its entire supply chain over the next few years. The company is currently undertaking Cradle to Cradle certification. Working together with suppliers and customers, the aim is to produce print products using sustainable materials.

Lenzing Papier GmbH joins Healthy Printing Initiative for better paper recycling

Austrian paper manufacturer Lenzing Papier has joined the Healthy Printing Initiative. The Healthy Printing Initiative constitutes a network of organizations aiming to improve the quality of recycled paper and cardboard by using healthier inks and printing additives. The initiative, which already has many ink manufacturers and print shops among its members, welcomes Lenzing Papier as a key stakeholder in the paper value chain.
