Healthy Printing Charter

Printing has a tremendous history, and a great potential future with innovations in packaging and 3D printing. The industry is also improving environmental & social performance of its products. Experience from that history suggests that healthier printing increases resource productivity by improving recyclability as well as increasing the use of recycled feedstock, and supports optimal conditions for a healthier economy.

Healthy printing improvements vary between products and regions, so it makes sense to share and scale up best practices. The following Healthy Printing Charter is designed to do that by supporting knowledge transfer and scale up of methods for printing that are healthy for people, the economy and the environment. We invite your company to join the Healthy Printing movement by signing the Charter as well, whether you are a manufacturerer of inks, papers, additives, a printer, distributor, an NGO, or even a user of printed products.

You’ll find the Healthy Printing Charter publicly available in three languages on this page. If you have any questions about joining the movement, or joining the healthy printing Network, please contact us at communication@healthyprinting.eu. Signed charters may be sent to the same address.

It is preferable, but not mandatory to join the Healthy Printing Initiative when signing the charter.
